Welcome to our digital anthology, showcasing the work of the young writers from the second annual Young Writer’s Institute at Pine Richland. We had a wonderful two weeks getting to know one another, and building a community of writers. In addition to daily writing workshops and activities facilitated by our YWI instructors, students had a visit and attended workshops on performance poetry by poet and artist Vanessa German. They also hiked the grounds of Eden Hall Upper Elementary School for writing inspiration. Our young writers celebrated their two weeks of writing with performances of their work on Thursday, July 19, followed by a reception with family and friends.
